Rutgers/Reds Star Todd Frazier Helps Hometown

Apparently nice guys don’t always finish last. Sometimes they come in third.

As much as he accomplished on the field this past season, former Rutgers standout and current Reds rookie sensation is making an even bigger impact off the field. Not one to rest on his laurels as the third-place finisher in the National League Rookie of the Year voting, the New Jersey native has been doing what he can to help his hometown rebuild after it was devastated by superstorm Sandy.

Frazier was recently profiled by ESPN’s Buster Olney in a nice segment which rockets him up my favorite player list. Check it out here: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=8709615
