West Chester Golden Rams
West Chester (46-10) swept through the DII CWS, with a pair of shutout wins behind ace Joe Gunkel as the Rams became the first team from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) to win the national championship and just the third northern school to walk away with the title.

Delta St. Statesmen
The Statesmen (49-15) reached the DII CWS championship game, but were shutout by West Chester to fall to 1-3 in NCAA DII title games. Both of DSU losses in Cary were shutouts.

Minnesota State Mavericks
The Mavericks (51-12) recorded a single-season win record and finished tied for third in the NCAA Division II College Baseball World Series. MSU appeared to be headed to the championship game before a late Delta St rally stopped them a game short.

St. Mary’s (TX) Rattlers
The Rattlers (49-11) claimed the South Central Regional championship, won their third straight Heartland crown and their 49 wins marked the second-most in program history, but only managed to go 1-2 in Cary to fall just short of the national championship goal.

Tampa Spartans
Tampa?s (38-10) season came to an end after going 0-2 in the South Regional. The 2012 Spartans did win the program?s 14th SSC championship and were ranked in the national top-five for the entire regular season. Aside from the preseason rankings, UT was the top ranked team for all but one week.

Francis Marion Patriots
The Patriots (40-18) finished a game short of reaching Cary for the second year in a row. FMU fell to Catawba in the championship game at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Baseball Tournament.

Central Missouri Mules
The Mules (48-9) had their 14th consecutive season with 40 or more wins have at least 44 wins in all five years under head coach Tom Myers. UCM forced a winner take all game with St. Mary’s in the South Central Regional, but lost to fall a game short of Cary.

Tusculum Pioneers
The Pioneers (48-10) had the second most in school history and second most in conference history and their .828 won-loss percentage set a new single-season school mark. However TC had their season end at the Southeast Regional final.

St. Cloud State Huskies
St. Cloud State (48-14) reached the NCAA Central Region championship game, but lost 5-4 to rival Minnesota State to finish a game short of the DII CWS.

Mount Olive Trojans
Mount Olive (44-10) had been leading the nation with 523 runs scored and was the top seed in the Southeast Regional but lost their first two games for an earlier than anticpated elimination.

Catawba Indians
The Indians (45-17) won the Southeast Regional to earn their first appearance in the DII CWS. Catawba went 2-2 with each of its games being decided by a single run.

Indianapolis Greyhounds
The Greyhounds’ (46-16) ) won their first regional crown in 12 years to make a run at a national title, but went 0-2 in Cary to have their season come to a prematue close.

Nova Southeastern Sharks
Nova Southeastern (35-15)end their season after a repeat trip to the NCAA South Region Tournament, where the Sharks went 2-2.

Southern N.H. Penmen
The Penmen (43-15) won the East Regional to earn their first DII CWS appearance. SNHU won their opener against Minnesota St but lost their next two to get elminated.

Cal St. Chico Wildcats
Chico (40-19) earned the program?s fifth California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) regular season title, and won the NCAA West Regional to reach the College World Series but were nearly being no-hit in the opening round and lost their second game to Minnesota St to get eliminated.

Lynn Fighting Knights
Lynn’s (35-15) season came to a close following an 8-4 loss to fifth-seeded Nova Southeastern in the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament.

Grand Valley St. Lakers
The Lakers (43-16) ended their season with their 11th straight NCAA Division II postseason appearance, going 2-2 in the Midwest Regional. Head coach Steve Lyon ends his 14-year career at GVSU with a record of 552-205-2.

The Muleriders (37-17) season came to a close with a 4-3 decision in the NCAA Division II South Central region baseball tournament to the host Central Missouri Mules.

Armstrong Atlantic Pirates
The Pirates (41-16) went 1-2 in the Southeast Regional with a pair of lopsided loses to have their season come to a close.

North Alabama Lions
The University of North Alabama?s (39-18) stay in the 2012 NCAA Division II South Regional Tournament came to an end with a 10-4 loss to Lynn in the second round.

Seton Hill Griffins
Seton Hill (46-11) set a new school record for wins but were eliminated by eventual national champional West Chester in the Atlantic Regional.

Angelo State (40-17) went a disapointing 0-2 in the South Central tournament with loses to St. Edward’s and Southern Arkansas.

Colorado Mesa Mavericks
Colorado Mesa (39-16) was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament on a walk-off two-run homerun in the bottom of the ninth by Minnesota State in the Central Region tournament.

Western Oregon (40-11) tied for the second-most program wins at the Division II level, but went 0-2 in their hosted West Regional to have their season end.

Le Moyne Dolphins
Le Moyne (43-15-1) won the Northeast-10 Conference Championship in its first season back at the Division II level and reached the East Regional championship, but fell to SNHU in their final game.

West Florida Argonauts
The Argonauts (35-19) eliminated top ranked Tampa in the South Regional, but were elminated themselves by Delta State to have their reign as defending national champions come to a close.

St. Edward’s Hilltoppers
St. Edward?s (37-16) suffered a 7-6, 12-inning loss to Central Missouri to get knocked out of the NCAA South Central Regional.

Franklin Pierce Ravens
Franklin Pierce (38-19-1) had its seventh straight season of at least 35 wins but had their season come to a close at the hands of Le Moyne in the East Regional.

Mercyhurst Lakers
The Lakers (39-17) suffered a pair of close loses in the Atlantic Regional to have their season come to a close. The Lakers finished one win shy of having back-to-back 40-win seasons.

Stillman Tigers
The Tigers (32-18) swept through the SIAC going 21-0 to earn a bid to the South Regional. The Tigers won three straight to advance to the region championship but lost back to back games to Delta St.
