Central Missouri Mules
The Mules (16-1) don't have a signature win as of yet, but they do have a boatload of victories, including nine in which UCM pitching allowed only a single run or less to propel them to the top spot. With their schedule the Mules will have to continue to win, and win big, to hold on to the top spot in the rankings. |

St. Mary's (TX) Rattlers
After playing their fourth game in four days, the bottom dropped out of the St. Mary's (22-5) pitching staff and allowed double digit runs in a 10-1 loss to Texas A&M Kingsville. The Rattlers rebounded to trounce Fisher College 57-6 in a three game series, but the loss to the Javelinas keeps St. Mary's out of the top spot... for now. |

North Alabama Lions
The Lions (21-7) won two of three from a very good West Georgia club, but it wasn't enough to propel the UNA into the top spot. UNA has three with Valdosta St this week before hosting Delta St in an über showdown at the start of April that could have the winner being named top team in the country. |

Tampa Spartans
Tampa (18-5) may be the top team, but they haven't been playing like it as of late. For the second time in three weeks the Spartans lost a series, this time to conference foe Florida Tech. The losses drop UT from the top spot for the first time since week two. |

Delta St. Statesmen
Had Delta St (15-5) swept their series with West Alabama they'd be the top ranked team (probably even if they'd just won the series). Instead DSU dropped a pair of games to the Tigers and are stuck at number five. |

West Florida Argonauts
Argos (20-7) swept two from Mississippi St and won two of three over Arkansas Tech. UWF travels to Memphis to play Christian Brothers before hosting Delta St to close the month. |

Southern Connecticut St. Fighting Owls
The Owls (13-3) only allowed two runs in five games last week against Caldwell, Mercy, Nyack and Merrimack. SCSU has their biggest non-conference games of the year coming up, contests with Lynn and Barry ("Contests with Lynn and Barry" wasn't that a 70's game show?) |

14 |
Lynn Fighting Knights
Lynn (16-7) won all four of their games this week, sitting down Adelphi, Molloy and Palm Beach Atlantic. The competition gets better this week with Southern Connecticut St, Franklin Pierce and three against Rollins on the schedule. |

St. Cloud State Huskies
SCSU (15-4) had the week off following their Hawaiian road trip. The Huskies get back in action with games against Augustana and Winona State this week. |

Armstrong Atlantic Pirates
The Pirates (18-6) averaged 16 runs in their five games last week, four of which were wins. Armstrong finished the week with a series win over Montevallo. AASU has a big conference showdown with rebounding Francis Marion this week. |

Grand Valley St. Lakers
Grand Valley St (10-4) finally had the kind of week Lakers fans expect when they swept four games on the road with Urbana. GVSU hosts Lake Erie this week. |

Tusculum Pioneers
TC (22-5) split a pair of games with Shippensburg and swept three from Newberry. The Pioneers host Young Harris and play Brevard on the road this week. |

Minnesota State Mavericks
The Mavs (9-3) took the week off after their trip to Florida and will get back on the diamond this week when they host Minnesota Duluth for four games. |

Mount Olive Trojans
After a disappointing start of the season, Mount Olive (18-6) has won 11 of 12 and scored in double digits in ten of those contests. A doubleheader with Catawba should test the Trojans this week. |

NR |
Lander Bearcats
The surging Bearcats (21-6) have won 13 of 14, including a three game sweep over Columbus St over the weekend to make a monstrous jump into the rankings. Lander plays Carson-Newman and USC Aiken this week. |

Nova Southeastern Sharks
The Sharks (14-4) had been circling the rankings since the start of the season and finally make the list after three lopsided wins over Philadelphia, St. Michael's and Franklin Pierce. NSU plays Palm Beach Atlantic on the road and hosts Eckerd this week. |
| 17 |

Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles
The Southern Indiana (11-6) unimpressively split a pair of games with both Maryville and UMSL. The Eagles hope to have better luck with doubleheaders against Illinois-Springfield and Quincy this week. |
| 18 |

23 |
Francis Marion Patriots
FMU (18-10) had three wins against Limestone, Cal (PA) and GCSU before a loss to the Bobcats and rain ended their week. A series win this week at Armstrong would show FMU is finally starting to live up to preseason expectations. |

Catawba Indians
The Indians (22-5) had a slow start to the season, but have won 16 of 18 to reenter the rankings in a big way. Catawba hasn't faced the stiffest competition to date, but does play two with Mount Olive this week. |
| 20 |

24 |
Cal Poly Pomona Broncos
The Broncos (16-7) had the week off and get back to work with four games on the road against Sonoma St this week. |

West Chester Golden Rams
West Chester (13-1) lost their first game Wednesday which had started on Sunday, but was suspended due to weather. In the meantime they won two games over Indianapolis and then swept four from Mansfield over the weekend after their loss on Wednesday which was a game they started Sunday. Got it? |
| 22 |

Florida Tech Panthers
Florida Tech (16-9) won two of three over top ranked Tampa to knock the Spartans out of the top spot in the rankings as well as make their own leap into the top thirty. The Panthers can secure their spot with a win over a struggling Franklin Pierce club this week. |

Cal St. Chico Wildcats
It appears the Wildcats (17-5) and Cal Poly Pomona will be going neck and neck to capture the West Region. Last week Chico had a crushing 20-0 win over Academy of Art before letting up on the gas but still easily swept the series. The 'Cats play CSUMB this week. |
| 24 |

6 |
Columbus St. Cougars
The Cougars (17-10) took a major tumble down the rankings after getting swept by Lander. CSU will try to work their way back up this week with a road series at Augusta St. |

Seton Hill Griffins
SHU (15-4) had a pair of wins over Concord and won two of three against Shepherd. The Griffs have two games at Slippery Rock and another three against Alderson Broaddus this week. |
| 26 |

26 |
Le Moyne Dolphins
Le Moyne (11-4) won two games over Philadelphia U in their only games of the week. The Dolphins play at Mansfield and host Merrimack and UMass-Lowell this week. |

14 |
Winona St. Warriors
The Warriors (5-6) are unquestionably ranked on potential rather than results. Last week WSU went 2-3, losing their first three games before rebounding to win their final two of their Florida trip. Winona can prove their worth this week when they host St. Cloud St. |
| 28 |

8 |
Franklin Pierce Ravens
FPU (10-6) had a busy, and bad week, with losses aplenty. The Ravens had three wins, but that doesn't make up for four losses, three of which were to unranked teams. It doesn't get easier this week with Tampa, Lynn and Florida Tech. Like Winona, the Ravens remain ranked based on potential rather than performance. |
| 29 |

29 |
UNC Pembroke Braves
UNCP (18-9) stopped their six game losing streak by winning a game over Coker and sweeping Augusta St. The Braves host Coker and Flagler this week. |

The Penmen (16-2) won three of four at St. Thomas Aquinas. SNHU hosts St. Anselm and plays American International and Assumption this week. |
