TAMPA FINISHES REGULAR SEASON AS NUMBER ONE
As the regular season comes to a close, the Tampa Spartans remain the top ranked team in the land. Aside from the preseason rankings and one week in the middle of the year, UT has been in the number one position for the entire season. [DII Top 30]

TINO MARTINEZ WATCH LIST 2012
Over one hundred thirty exceptional student-athletes comprise the initial watch list for the 2012 Tino Martinez Award for the most outstanding player in DII college baseball. With an experienced roster which advanced to the College World Series finals last season, Florida is the overwhelming favorite to capture its first baseball national title in school history. DII PRESEASON TOP 30: PATRIOT GAMES
If a single batted ball bounced a foot in a different direction FMU could have advanced to the DII CWS last season. Instead the Patriots dropped a heartbreaking 2-1 decision to Mount Olive in the championship game of the Southeast Regional.
